Arrows is yet another in a line of Disney-style faux-British pubs that has sprung up around Japan.

Decked-out to look like an "authentic" British/Irish pub, the venue (one of three in the area) boasts draught-Guinness, Bodingtons ("The Cream of Manchester!") and Bass-Ale amongst others plus wide-screen TV sports coverage, Japanese-style British food and a questionably working dart-board.

However, the place also features a cheery atmosphere and cozy VIP/private function area complete with fake fireplace, making it perfect for cold winter nights.

"Arrows" is one of three pubs, known as "Bar", "PUBlic" and "British Pub and Foods", forming a chain of similar venues. It is located just round the corner from the more ex-pat popular "Euro-house" (which, incidentally, serves draught Guinness too without a service charge, although Euro-House doesn't serve Boddingtons).

Access
From JR/Tobu Funabashi station, turn right from the main/BIG ticket gate and, once outside, turn left and walk past a "Koban" police office on your right. Follow the path around to the right and walk past the KFC (opposite the McDonalds on the other side of the road). Walk over the first rail crossing (Home to Keisei Funabashi station) and then take the first pathway on the left that has a COBBLED street (complete with bored looking Chinese street ladies hanging around at night near the street's mouth) Now walk past the "Ghandi Indian Restaurant" on your right and you will come to a small fork in the path (with the "Euro-House" bar just opposite and visable if you look up). Turn left at this fork, with the Euro-House on your right. Walk past the "My Thai Restaurant" and turn right at the end of the path. The "Arrows" pub is on the right-hand side.
